Technical File: Mould Wounds

In this session, we created wounds using gelatine shaped with moulds. 

I applied prosaide to the area that I wanted to apply the wound, waited for it to dry and then put the mould over it. Using Witch Hazel, I went over the edges of the mould to help it blend into the skin better.

I then started lightly colouring it with the black and red shades from the Supracolour Palette.

Finally, I applied the wound filler and fake blood to the area to make it look more realistic.

Health and Safety

We had to make sure we used Pro Clean for after doing this. This was because otherwise the prosaide would not come off properly so it had to be removed correctly.
